Corrections to Plans

Page 2 of your plans Set: It says to cut all tubes out of 2" x 2" x .125 wall 6063-T351 square aluminum tubing. You may substitute 2" x 2" x .125 wall 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum tubing. We do not recommend any other grade of tubing.

Page 3 and related pages: Plans say to use AN364-1032 nylock nut. The correct number is AN365-1032. Use this instead where the plans call for the first one.

Page 4: cross tube dimension is 24". Solid round aluminum rod dimension is 1 inch diameter.

Page 14: Bellcrank bearing. Where it says make from .090 6061-T6 plate, you may subsitute .125 6061-T6 aluminum plate.

Page 22: rib clip made from .020 alum, the Builders Manual says to use .035, either one will work fine.

Page 24: Forward stabilizer dimension is missing. This should be 24 inches, from the leading edge of the stabilizer, to the trailing edge. The same as the elevator.

Page 37: Gusset A geometry is slightly incorrect. Use the dimensions as given in the plans, and cut to fit your fuselage. Make sure the lengths are the same.
